About Yang Lu-Chan's Tai Chi Chuan System
Everyone is familiar with Yang family Tai Chi Chuan,
which has come down to us from Yang Cheng-Fu
who was the grandson of Yang Lu-Chan.
It is very popular in China and Asia.
It is the style most practiced throughout the world.
Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan originated in Yong Nian County
of Hebei Province, China. It was founded by Yang Lu-Chan.
Yang Lu-Chan left Hebei and went to Beijing, into the Wang Fu,
or Wang Family household, and taught them Tai Chi.
In competions, no one could beat them. Because of this
Yang Lu-Chan was given the title "Yang Wu-Di"
which is translated to "Yang the Invinceable".
His strength and ability came from the fact that he had created
a complete system, including within it:
- Zhi Chui
- Yang Style Da Jia
- Yang Style Lao Jia
- Yang Style Xiao Jia
- Tai Chi Chang Quan
- Xiao Jiu Tian
- Hou Tian Fa
- San Shou San Shi Shi
