What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi, the ancient Chinese art of meditation in motion, promotes mental, emotional, and physical healing by combining movement, breath, meditation, relaxation and self-defense. It is reputed to be of therapeutic value for high blood pressure, heart disease, and lung disease. People of all ages and physical abilities practice this form of exercise. It requires no equipment and very little space. Each movement is performed slowly to improve balance, flexibility, concentration, and muscle control.
